"My goal in life is to be as good of a person my dog already thinks I am." ~Unknown
David and I met up in High School and we have been together ever since. We graduated High School together and then went on to graduate college together. It was a very special time for us. I worked as a ward clerk through college and David was a waiter.
We were married our Junior year and after College graduation, David went straight into banking and I worked part time and went to graduate school. But before you knew it, we had the awesome opportunity to adopt our first child from Russia. Noah was five months old when he came home from Russia. Our next child was adopted from Belarus and Hannah was 14 months when she came home. They are everything. We love them and need them.

Having two small children, I decide to drop out of graduate to stay home with the kids. What a beautiful thing to be able to do!
I became interested in showing dogs while I was working part time as a ward clerk. A nurse on the unit that I worked on was a breeder and exhibitor of Whippets. I loved going to the shows with her, and I got hooked, I just didn’t have the time to do it and I didn’t know what breed I would pick to show.
After graduation I saw my first Cavalier and I fell in love! I had found the perfect dog for me. Her name was Lily and I wanted her so bad that I asked the owner if I could buy her. They said absolutely not!
Soon we moved to Texas and I then had the space to pursue Exhibiting and breeding Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I bought two littermate sisters, a Ruby and a Blenheim and they started the process for me to Exhibit and breed. I was able to finish the Blenheim (Ella) as an AKC Champion. You can see many pictures of them on "Our Girls" page.
Ella is my foundation girl and I have her children and her grandchildren. They are all stunning. I finished Ella’s daughter to her Grand Championship in the AKC, (Mara), another Ella daughter in the American Kennel Club and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club, USA, including a Best In Show (Margot), and we are currently working on finishing Ella’s granddaughter in the AKC (Pasha). I also own Justine, another that we made an AKC Champion (Luxxar Justin Case) and a beautiful Tri girl, Jenna, (Luxxar Because You Are Mine). We are in exciting times here at Hadara Cavaliers!

She was one of our very first Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. She is retired now and living in a wonderful home in Oklahoma.
